Now we know why UK is 4-5 instead of 3-6

8 home games and they're going to need a win over UofL to reach 6 wins if they lose in Nashville to Vandy, and then manage to beat Charlotte. Too funny! They went from winning the SEC East to being the team most of us expected they would be. The normal doormat program it always has been.

I don't see them beating Vandy but Charlotte is just terrible so I don't see them losing to them at home. I will be curious to see the crowd for the final home game of what was supposed to be the breakout season where they have to beat Louisville just to get to six wins.

I love seeing their fans yet again arguing they would have a better record if they played Louisville's "weak" schedule. There is no way they they could have beaten Houston, Clemson N.C. State or Florida State. They lost to Auburn at UK while the Cards lost to them a couple of hours from the Auburn campus. I think they would have beaten BC and Samford at home. But I don't think their offense would score at Wake and I don't think the team that got smacked by Georgia yesterday would have beaten Syracuse So while the Cards playing a "weak" schedule have won five against that schedule think the Cats would have won only two at this point in the season, four at best (if you give them wins against Wake and Syracuse) against the same schedule.

We still have two worthy opponents before the UK game. I think we win the Virginia game at PJCS but the Pitt game is a toss up. Being bowl eligible before the UK game would be awesome. Not saying we can't beat UK either way, it would just take some pressure off.
