I saw this kid named Jackson Kuwatch at the Undreclassmen Report Camp this past Saturday in Ohio and I thought he looked pretty good. He's six-foot-4, 215-pounds and could move well for a guy his size. Intrigued that I may have found a sleeper, I started circulating his name through some channels. It turned out he's a kid who coaches wanted to see at camp. Cincinnati and Louisville were two names that popped up. Last year he was only about 200-pounds but he's bulked up in the offseason and looks a lot stronger.
I was told that Louisville thinks he could play inside linebacker.
I get the interest in him because he's built like Jack Dingle. I don't think he's as fast or as experienced as Dingle but he has a similar frame and looked good in drills. He hasn't been offered by the staff yet and I expect Jaylin Alderman to commit to Louisville at 2:00 but there will still be one linebacker sport available. If the staff feels they are out of it for Prince Kollie I think we could see Kuwatch picking up an offer.
He's a kid who probably would have seen his stock rise if he was able to camp and be evaluated in person. His film from last season wasn't overly impressive so this season was vital for his chances of playing Power-Five ball.
