New CBS mock draft has Donovan Mitchell in Lottery

Gary Parrish says #17 to the Bucks. I don't believe that is lottery area. The top 14 are lottery picks is the way I understand this. And by the way, Parrish is wrong as often he is right. Also, Donovan's family doesn't need the money as his dad is an executive with the NY Mets baseball team. Just sayin'. Plus maybe the OP is a uahkay fan with wishful thinking but maybe not.

He gone

The top 14 spots are lottery picks because those are the 14 teams that didn't make the playoffs.

Going 17 is slightly south of the middle of the first round. If he gets solid feed back from the Bucks or other teams higher than 17, then he should stay in the draft.

NBAdraft.net is usually more accurate than other sites. They have Mitchell in the lower half of the 1st round (25th) which makes his decision to stay in more difficult. It's easy to slip from the low end of the 1st round and fall out of the guaranteed money.

No it doesn't have anything to do with me. You just shouldn't get your hopes up especially since his projections keep rising. It's how things are these days
Not necessarily true about how things are these days. Some of these kids that don't have their families depending on them for financial support, view the picture differently.

This doesn't mean he's not leaving, just that it's not fair to lump all these players into that category.

I'm hearing the draft next year(2018 draft) will be light on guards. He might leave...but he might not.He might have a burning desire to get that ring,we don't know.

You are right about next years draft. Early looks at it show it's very weak for guards and lots of big men / forwards

I want to make wager i say he stays in draft and for me a bottle of Apple Crown.
Revenge sorry nobody would put their money where their mouths are. I'll buy u a double crown apple at your bar of choice. Just because i like folks that stand by their thoughts with a solid bet.
