Good get rid of her and her political correctness.
The local radio and Twitter guys have succeeded in riling up the fan base with rumor and innuendo. And then when things don’t pan out like their “sources” said it would, they then blame it on sabotage from Tyra, Neeli, BOT, other media types, etc, etc. It’s a really sad day for UofL and the near term looks really bleak.

With Neeli Thickabooti gone, I'd much rather Tyra stay than leave. At least he's a known commodity and not having a President and an AD at the same time sounds like a very bad idea, especially if the NCAA stuff comes down over the nxt year (which is likely). I don't think he's done a bad job at all, and he can operate as he wishes now.
Anyway, I was down on Hurstbourne Parkway and I heard at Momma's Mustard Pickles BBQ that Jay Gruden is going to be the new President. I wonder what they're hearing down at Ehrler's and Mike Linnig's?

This is not about political positions. It's about the leadership of the University of Louisville. Pretty damn simple.

Hire the best candidates for positions that are open, ones that are qualified with experience at the positions posted. Neeli had never been a President of a University before I don’t understand why she was hired in the first place.
She just got hired at one of the largest land grant universities. Clearly she was qualified.
It was my understanding that she had been a highly placed individual at both Kansas and Ohio State. Both of those schools are highly recoginized. I'm not sure Dr. Ramsey had ever been the president anywhere either and he was highly effective here. Yes, he had been a VP at the university level but I think Neeli had been as well.

Actually none of this matters any longer as she is gone. Now we need to vet the next candidate fully and make a good decision regardless of age or sex. I cannot imagine PSU not vetting NB properly as they are a highly successful University with a high ranking. Something that I hope the University of Louisville aspires to be.

Hmmmmmm, I wonder if she got all of her degrees (undergrad, masters and PHD) at uahkay? I seriously doubt that. If so it would be an incredibly rare situation.
