Need Michigan to beat OSU and Washington to lose one more

Or for Clemson to lose @wake Forest, because that's the only way the Cards get into the playoffs.

Michigan beating Ohio State will keep two B1G teams from getting in. Washington losing eliminates the PAC-12 champ.

Can't decide what's more likely though- Michigan beating OSU at the shoe with a backup QB AND Washington losing, or Clemson losing @wake.

OSU is going to pound Michigan, who is overrated. That means PSU is going to probably play Wisconsin in the B1G championship. After Wisconsin beats PSU, that likely means OSU and Wisconsin will both make the playoffs. Unfortunately. Then Alabama will have their spot. So there is 1 spot left between UL, Clemson, and Washington. It's a shame, because that will likely go to Clemson, because they have us in the head to head, even though our 1 loss is better than their 1 loss. Should UL be in the playoffs this year? Abso-freaking-lutely. Will they? Not sure. The playoff committee will need to think UL is more deserving than Clemson or Wisconsin. Of course, there is still a lot of football left to play this year, ladies and gentlemen. And I believe if UL takes care of business, we will be there in the end.

IMO the Big Ten will NOT get two teams in the playoff as long as Washington, Clemson, and U of L do not lose. Those teams, the winner of Michigan/tOSU, and Bama are the five that will be in play without "chaos" among them.

You want Washington to lose one more game to feel the most confident...

I don't think it matters,I don't think they take a 2 loss big ten team over yal..I think we play OSU and yal play Bama in the ATL.

I think that is a definite possibility. Cheers to an all ACC title game/rematch between Cards/Tigers!!

Disagree.

11-1 OSU will get in. The resume will be too good. @#9 Oklahoma, @#7 Wisconsin, vs#18 Nebraska, vs #3 Michigan. Loss was by 3 @#8 Penn State. That's a 4-1 record against the top 25, with two wins on the road against top 25 teams. Whereas Louisville will finish 1-1 and Washington can finish no better than 2-1, and has a double digit home loss.

OSU getting in also practically guarantees the B1G conference champ gets in. Which means one of Wisconsin/Penn State, in that scenario.

I don't know that tOSU getting in guarantees an invite for the Big Ten champ. There are no auto-bids. And the committee chairperson said last nite that the ONE-LOSS teams at the top are close in strength. No mention of two-loss teams included in that group, and no tie-breakers (like conference champs) applied UNLESS TEAMS ARE CLOSE...

need Clemson to lose, as I think if they take two teams from one conference it will be from the best conference and that is the big ten. Don't see two acc teams in ahead of any conference. I could honestly see them raising an undefeated western Michigan and giving them a shot instead taking two from not the best conference
