The one thing that the disaster of Kenny Payne the past two seasons has caused, is new coaches being on the hot seat after a season or two of losing, especially former players becoming the head coach.

The ND coach was pissed because fans and media are questioning his ability to get the job done after just a few seasons. Looks like it's been building up on him with the anger he showed, slamming the microphone.

That behavior will not help his cause and won't be surprised if he's replaced at the end of the season.

I don't blame them. In today's college athletics, you CAN turn it around in 1 year. You might get 2 years if there are glimmers of hope. However, if they are still only glimmers in year 2, you may be out.

Envy is a serious vice. Humility would be good for him to attempt in the future.

He is stupid to make the comment to fans not to come back when he/ND starts to win again.

Piss poor attitude and shows his character/lack of integrity. Likely he will not win there or anywhere else if/when is fired and he gets another coaching job. Stupid is as stupid does.

FSU's Hamilton isn't on the same level as Pitino, K, Roy, and Boeheim, but his soon to be departure continues the trend of good ACC coaches hitting the road.

Not a good look for a great University to say the least. After watching 3 - 4 of their games this year, the game last evening was one of their best on the defensive side. We'll gladly play them again if Coach S. would like. Make it to the tournament. Maybe more ND fans would show...But, then again, maybe not!

Last Season I thought ND looked very well coached. But Kenny Payne tricked me.

Seriously, I do think ND's Coach is pretty good. I think he may regret last night's post-game PC.

I guarantee you he pissed off a lot of boosters. Had he not done that he may have survived a so-so 25-26 season.

This is not unlike when Dean Smith retired at UNC, although I'm not saying Mike Brey is on the same level but he did coach 23 years, even longer than Digger. After Smith they promoted Guthridge but he was a just a placeholder until they got Roy to come to Chapel Hill It is hard to be that next coach as we found out with when Pitino was let go.

The Burton kid on ND had just 3 points, apparently not interested after the Louisville game. The ACC leading scorer most likely has a date with the portal.

This coach is history.
