Do away with current conferences. The teams should be split into Tiers consisting of 30 teams each. The very first split should be done by taking the average top 30 (by RPI) teams over the last 25/30yrs.
.Each team should play a 10 game season.
.Teams must play every team in their Tier before a repeat game can occur ( The repeats can occur after 3 seasons).
.Each Tier will have a National Champion decided by a 8 team playoff in their respected Tier.
.Every 6 years the Tiers must realign. The realignment will be done by taking the AVERAGE Top 5 (over the last 6 years) teams of each Tier and move them up to next Tier if allowed. The Bottom 5 of each Tier will subsequently move to next lower Tier if allowed.
