Just saw she’s headed to of all places LSU. Who saw that coming.

That is a surprise she was making 2.2 million a year at Baylor. She played college ball at La Tech, LSU must be paying big bucks or something happened at Baylor to
Make her unhappy. I wonder what is going to happen to her recruits?

My thoughts exactly. You don’t make a jump like that if your happy.

Well, it's purely speculation on my part, but given she's a miserable person, I suspect after Baylor's men won the NCAAT, her squad became not as important. She likely enjoyed being the top dog at Baylor.

She was born in Louisiana. She grew up there. She went to school there. She coached at Louisiana Tech and did quite well. Her son played baseball there. And LSU has money, y'all. They'll teach her how to wear a mask, re-introduce her to crawdad gumbo and trot her out for the wildest show around....LSU football on a Saturday night. Shoot, Ed Orgeron will probably share his six pack of Dixie Beer with her...it's a perfect fit for Mulkey the Monkey.

Yeah I read an article after I made my post. The move is a bit of a surprise, but the location makes sense.

It’s hard to win at the same place for 10 years, let alone 10-20. Sometimes you just need a reboot, or fresh change of scenery. And to do it when going “home” so to say, I think she was overdue.

She grew up in Tickfaw, Louisiana but she was born in California. I know she played basketball at Louisiana Tech, I remember watching her in college she was a really good guard. She was offered 2.5 million to return to LSU and at the same time return home. Some thought she was burned out at Baylor and was looking for a fresh start.

“Crawdad gumbo”. My absolute favorite and these “yung-uns” have no idea what a crawdad is.

Sonja, you have made my day, which frankly was headed straight downhill since this beautiful morning walking my dawg!

Mulkey’s salary at LSU is 22.5 million for 8 years but that does not include incentives.

There was a restaurant on Bardstown Road years ago owned by a guy named Nick who did a fantastic crayfish etouffe. I think he went to work for someone else though. I miss that place
