Mission. 16. Straight.

The result last night is a cross roads moment for this season. This team will either come together or the distraction Mangok and Adel caused will undo everything the team has worked for since practice started.

Both need to apologize to their teammates. IF they do that then this season can still be special.

4 of the 5 Bigs are to soft.
The one big who isnt, decides to party and let his team down.

They need to watch tape of past UofL bigs.
Start with the last team to win 16 straight -2013 National Champs.
Gorgui, Chane, Trez, SVT , and to a lesser degree Zach Price wasnt having that.

Man up Cards

Zach Price? Oh my. To a much lesser degree, like no degree.

But yeah, it's pretty obvious the 4/5 spot is very limited offensively.

I expect more losses, but nobody will want this 4 seed in March.

be careful, the woe is me 3 card fans will come along and throw insults at your opinion.

ralph williard helped our bigs be aggressive and produce last season. Padget can only teach them to be soft as water because he is soft as water.

Have to disagree here. First of all, our main big last year was tough as nails with an attitude on the court which a big has to have. Nanu's development was unreal from his freshman to sophomore year. Bigs either have it or they don't. Footwork can always get better as well as a solid drop step plus improving rebounding skills.

Mangok isn't soft, he has solid footwork and continues to improve as his foot heals and he gets to back being used to being on the court. He broke his foot not once but twice which set his rehab back big time.

Anas is who he is which means he can play well when someone isn't putting a body on him. If they are, he tends to be a non factor. David Padgett was not soft as a Cardinal. Played hurt more than most know. Chronic knee problems but suited up and gave everything he could every game he played. I'm thrilled he is now on staff and can coach our bigs how to be better players. We are playing this year without our expected starting center. The coaching staff didn't expect Nanu to leave and thought we had another year of him being the man plus solid back ups.

Padgett is a very good coach that will continue to push our bigs to get better. Coach is thrilled to have him on staff. I've been told this by more than one person in the know.

Your opinion is your opinion but Padgett was anything but soft IMO.
