I have several memories of CDC and CRP absolutely in a screaming fit over something that happened on the court (typically on the D side), calling time and berating players for some missed assignment. Not promoting screaming fits here, just saying there is a level of understanding/judgment/attention required for winning that all excellent coaches have. Those characteristics need to be shared with the entire staff (which is exemplified by assistants going on to HC). I just don't see that level with this staff, this new hire makes it worse.
To be fair, I usually had no idea what was going on durung the moments before the screaming fit...my bball IQ either isn't that high or I didn't know the play called (or both).
