Mike Balado has been named the head coach at Arkansas State. Really sorry to see him go, as he is a great recruiter and an excellent on the floor coach. Grateful Cards wish him the best!

I'll tell you what - Pitino has accomplished many things in his career - he coached the Knicks to 50 wins, he took Providence to a FF, he resurrected UK from the brink, and he's put U of L right back where they were in the 80s. I think his ability to develop assistants into quality head coaches might be his biggest strength of all.
