Big DT kid in New Albany (Spencer) committed to UK and never visited UL; I heard yesterday that English was making an effort to reach back out to him. Tough flip, but this staff is not going to concede anything to UK.

He never committed he was a heavy UK lean and that has shifted to Louisville. Their board doesn’t sound like they are on him anymore. Not sure if Brohm is on him.

Kendrick Gilbert is the one to watch. Committed to Purdue and UK definitely wants him. We will see how that plays out.

UK fans have a long tradition of souring on any potential recruit on their message boards whenever it appears that a recruit is looking elsewhere, particularly UL.

Spencer lives less than 20 miles from the Belknap campus, and almost a 100 miles from Lexington, but so far his only visit was to UK. Up until now, Spencer gave no hint of taking an official visit here.
