and Cam Ward getting exposed at home against a sub-par VT team. Maybe they make adjustments at halftime or maybe not. Looks like the same overhyped Miami of the last decade+.

These refs are really trying to help out Miami. A 60 yard run by Va Tech for holding and the replay shows it was not holding but a good block. The Miami defender interfered with the Va Tech receiver and the referee standing 5 yards away didn’t throw a flag so the referee 30 yards away threw the flag.

Probably more to do with it being a Friday game and the weather has made things a little off. These are always the games where upsets occur when it’s just a weird scenario.

Also, remember when this used to be one of the biggest games of the year?

I always thought you had 5 years to play 4 evidently that has changed. The Miami receiver who caught the TD is a 9th year player.

Sloppy game, but Cam Ward with 5 TDs and 400 total yards and they sneak away with a win in a game they should’ve lost, which Miami loses these games in other years.

Whether he had firm control, no one ever saw it.

The call in the field was a bad one because there was no way to tell if he had control and the only thing anyone saw was a bobble.

The review was bad too because there wasn’t enough evidence to overturn it.

I wonder what the receiver, #9 has to say about it?

Since it was called a TD on the field....and the usual standard to reverse the call is indisuptable evidence...how do you over rule that without the evidence and GIVE Miami a W.

Wonder what VT coach has to say about it also...he is getting a warm seat and his job may be slipping away. Will this make or break him and the Hokies for the rest of the year?

Will Miami truly buck up now and truly be back or are they fake juice and still living on that brand that the national media extends to them just because of their tradition? One That CHS started by the way with the U's first NC. If only the Cards would receive that kind of treatment someday too. ;) One can hope.

It was TD, but I knew as soon as it was sent to the ACC Officials in Charlotte for review, that politics would intervene; this conference feels the need to have some representation in the NC conversation. Miami and Clemson are the two (2) darlings now; if UL prevails at ND, we will be added to that exclusive company.

The ACC admin needs an UNDEFEATED brand name to continue being unbeaten so this must make them happy. Feel bad for VT though.
Well the only way Miami stays undefeated is because their schedule is a joke with Louisville the only team standing in their way.
