He's a 7-2 center originally from South Sudan who now plays for West Oaks (Fla.) High School. He has an astonishing 7-11 wingspan and can run the floor rather gracefully considering his immense size.
Oh, yeah. He's also in eighth grade.
The folks over at TakeMyTalent.com helped unearth this physical prodigy who'll obviously be a big-name attraction for college coaches over the next few years.

As we're sure you guessed, Marial easily dominates every aspect of the game when he's on the floor. He renders jump balls pointless, erases shots with volleyball-spike-like precision and scores, well, let's just say he rarely has use for a jump shot right now.

According to MaxPreps, the eighth-grader suited up this past season for West Oaks High in Florida and helped his squad to a 32-4 campaign. Luckily he's playing up in level because Marial might be the most intimidating middle school player ever.

Imagine the look on player and parent's faces when they showed up to the NYBL event in Columbus, Ohio to take on Team Florida's Class of 2019 team.
We all know kids who were fully developed in eighth grade then never grew another inch again. They were 5-9 and had a mustache when everyone else was 5-6. Now everyone is 6-0 and they're still 5-9.

That won't be a problem for Marial. Who knows, he may even grow to eight feet tall.
Eighth-grader Chol Marial's early growth spurt has him more than head and shoulders above his peers. He also looks physically able to thrive against tougher competition.

Marial, who was born in South Sudan, played with West Oaks (Florida) High School's varsity team this past season. According to P2bball.com, the 15-year-old has a staggering 7'11" wingspan and is "a basketball player in every sense of the word."

For his size, Marial is very fluid, has impressive handles, a smooth jump shot and insane dunking ability. Expect him to be a matchup nightmare for years to come.

At this rate he'll be 9 foot tall before he graduates HS!! LOL.

7'2" and 150lbs......Sounds like a Pitino blue-chipper. He'll be a junior before he gains enough weight to even play. Rick needs to host a TV series "The Biggest Gainer" where Div I basketball players compete against each other for a starting shot through eating and weight room challenges.
