"The university deserves a full time assistant coach and I am not able to provide that to the basketball team while the false allegations against me are being investigated," McGee wrote in a letter to UMKC Director of Athletics Carla Wilson.

UMKC is investigating allegations involving McGee and Louisville recruiting. The NCAA and the University of Louisville have also said they are investigating the allegations. While the investigation is ongoing, UMKC will have no further comment on the matter.

Not a Basketball guy and really have a hard time with people saying Rick Pitino knew nothing about it...McGee now is under no obligation to speak to the NCAA...not an employee.

Also Pitino is NOT going to ACC Media Day.
