NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDRB) — ESPN released more details of its Sunday Outside the Lines report about the University of Louisville basketball sex-for-recruits allegations, including the first video of Andre McGee since the allegations surfaced.

McGee is alleged to have arranged parties for recruits with former Louisville escort Katina Powell, and provided, according to her, more than $10,000 in payments. You can watch a preview of the report here.

ESPN caught up with McGee in Kansas City, where a source told WDRB News he is driving an Uber. A preview video from ESPN shows John Barr in the back seat of McGee’s car asking questions, but doesn’t show any answers from McGee.

That’s probably because McGee offered none. A source told WDRB’s Jason Riley that an ESPN crew called McGee for a ride, and when they got into his back seat pulled out a camera and told him this was his chance to talk. He said he didn’t want to talk. According to the source, Barr then told him that was a bad idea. After several questions, McGee asked them to get out.

ESPN spent time in Louisville on Tuesday morning, interviewing Powell in Louisville’s Seelbach hotel.

The report is expected to include some new developments in the story that has been dogging the Louisville basketball program since October. It airs at 9 a.m. Sunday on ESPN.

Looks like the new development is "Andre McGee was driving an Uber and refused to answer questions from an ESPN crew."

Well maybe Andrea learned something.....keep your mouth shut.

Looks like ESPN is trolling and they are coming up empty, as much as everyone is trashing Andre at least he didn't give them anything. I also think it is funny they keep going back to Powel for more information when there is so many lawsuits against her right now claiming she is lying. ESPN looks desperate and foolish somebody should do an expose on them on how they conduct business. I am surprised they would put a video out there showing them coming up with nothing, it makes them look bad not UL.

What irks me is how ESPN is the defacto sports outlet for all of the NCAA sports media platform. They drive alot of the NCAA programming and have a voice, although they don't fall under the NCAA umbrella but what they report is direct info on NCAA schools which have a positive or negative spin on a program. Just by what they choose to put out about a school and it's issues. But the NCAA investigation tells U of L or any other school they are not allowed to talk due to ongoing investigation. But ESPN can interview the other party ie Powell who is the instigator and promote her as the victim. Just because she doesn't fall under NCAA control. Their should be mechanism that says if you claim xyz happened you are not allowed to speak either, this thing has been one sided against U of L from day one. Amazing

So I listened to it, and Crawford said "up to 2 dozen people have confirmed parties." Not that 2 dozen confirmed "the allegations" which go beyond the parties. Around the 10.5 min mark Crawford calls it "not a bombshell", but new information nonetheless.
We already knew the parties took place; this isn't really anything new. Everything that he said was gathered from people he spoke to in the hotel lobby. So it isn't the most reliable info, but he seemed confident that there are more people involved than before.

So, time to quit speculating and wait for the actual report. ESPN will pump it up to get more viewers, which means more advertising $ for them.

Otherwise, the guy hosting for Valvano sounded like a real ass

The guy hosting for Valvono is always on the show and he backs up Valvono when Valvono's out. He's the reason I stopped listening. He is a real ass!

So here we have a uahkay fan blurbing about HIS OWN wishful thinking about "what he heard" Eric Crawford say and he is not getting banned on this site. Hmmmmmmmm . . . plus he is "liked" by another uahkay fan. My suggestions to these fools is one, wait until Sunday a.m. and, two, go back to you own scum bag sites where you will hear from very, very few Louisville Cardinal fans because the vast, vast majority of us have been banned for simply stating the truth about a subject. So with that said, get your sorry @$$ back to lessington.

GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!
EXACTLY!!!! This guy should have been banned a long time ago. He pretends to be rational and want to engage in discussion about Louisville, but his true colors come out eventually like all the rest of the Slapd_cks.

I (like ALL UL fans) just want this whole thing to just go away, take our punishment (like we have and IF there's anymore) and move on from it and rebuild our rep. I'm an UL fan and will ALWAYS be, through the good and bad.
So true.

Denial time, making excuses and thinking that what went on was just a bunch of guys having normal every day fun is over. If it was your kid that was involved in this would you pat him on the back and say sounds like you had a great time son.

There are a bunch of great kids coming back next year that are young and talented and hopefully make us all forget about all this crap.

The most important thing to me was this an institutional or individual issue? Everything points to an individual making poor choices which can't be controlled no matter how hard people try. Louisville had to pay the price for those choice. That is how it should be because at the end of the day they are accountable for their employees actions.

Guess I don't follow. If you don't think guys going to schools on recruiting trips don't hang out and go to parties then I believe you are delusional. I do not condone it. The recruits, probably for the most part, don't know certain girls are paid for. They party and then some hook up.

No, I doubt my kid would tell me any those details. Even as an adult, I don't discuss my sex life with my parents.

Still haven't heard anything of substance to justify a postseason ban. IMO that's the only story left to be told...

Hell, I saw this at lowly EKU many years ago and in many sports. Athletes and sex are a common combination. Using sex as a lure is common.

IF the stories of stacks of cash are true, that's the difference. And IF true, WHY? It was totally unnecessary.

That right there is what I just do NOT get either. IF you are going to do this sort of stuff, you don't do this in the college dorm room, and you bring in BEAUTIFUL top of the line professional young women. Not nasty looking tramps who look like meth heads.

Don't get me wrong, I don't condone this recruiting ploy but if you're going to do it, then do it right. Sheez. No wonder Blakney freaked out and opted out of his verbal. After looking at the trash lineup, I would have too.

I just wish the media would stop piling on. Really jumped on us before anything definitive came out.

Agreed but they protect some schools cough unc cough while tearing down schools with a long history of being model citizens like us.
UNC has a top administration that is overpaid and is intelligent. They don't sacrifice their team. We have a top administration that is overpaid and is not intelligent. It sacrificed our innocent team.
