Matz has not yet had a very long career to acquire his particular set of skills.Guess Richard will make use of his "specific set of skills".
Off to Minnesota he goes. Interesting.

I would care to wager Rick Pitino knows talent and what he is doing when he recruits and develops players. He puts on top notch teams every year.Players like stockman that Rick always recruits and is nothing but a waste of a scholly every class. When we always have local players that rick could recruit that go else where and perform at high levels.I get tired of all these projects that never seem to pan out . Their are many players with a much better talent that he could recruit and at least be able to play.
I can't pile on guys that came here to try and help the program, even if they didn't get to help themselves(it happens). He's Red and Black, far as I'm concerned.Always will be.Players like stockman that Rick always recruits and is nothing but a waste of a scholly every class.
I am with you on this. I wish him the best. He got so little playing time over the last three years, that if he wants to go somewhere to hopefully get some PT, I won't hold it against him.I can't pile on guys that came here to try and help the program, even if they didn't get to help themselves(it happens). He's Red and Black, far as I'm concerned.Always will be.
Is he going as a grad transfer where he can play immediately or will he sit out a year?
Sorry but it's the nature of the beast. It won't be the last, but let's hope there's not many.Happy for Matz and wish him nothing but the best. Having said that I would rather have his scholarship next year than him riding the bench so this works out well for both parties. I'll echo what another poster said and hope this the last of Rick's "projects" that never pan out.
