I couldnt disagree more. He had as much come back this past season as any power 5 program. He left VT at the perfect time to go to the SEC and probably sees the Texas A&M job for what it is and thats a distant 2nd fiddle to football. He wasn't forced out either time and folks were a little shocked both times.

Believe what you want but there is a reason he has chased every big job over the last two years including Louisville and Indiana.

Goodman and others have hinted at this as well.

Honestly in this day and age, if you aren’t at a power program then you might as well maximize leverage and move up before you get moved down.
