Mitchell never got going and the results speak for themselves. I rarely complain about the officiating but I really didn't like the whistles tonight. I know I'm a homer but damn. The whistles were big time one sided IMO. Oh well. It's a road loss against a team that was desperate for a quality win. Maybe that gets them in the NCAA tourney. We can still play ourselves back to a 2 seed. We might have slipped to a 3 after tonight.

I'm not one to attack other posters (other than in what I deem a playful, humorous manner) but this is way overboard man. I hope you were drinking last night and your hangover today inspires you to get some perspective.
Road games in conference are rough. Remember those games at the RAC vs Rutgers? It's a loss on the road against a Top 50 RPI team, our first against anyone outside the Top 25, it happens.
One thing I do notice is that when this team feels pressured - as in they look like they are going to lose the game - they regress to one on one, playground,AAU ball. Very little meaningful ball movement.
When you're team relies upon its offense primarily to win games, there will be outcomes like this. During the first 15 minutes when shots are falling, we have a double digit lead. Unfortunately when that stops, we don't have enough defense to sustain the lead. We have been fortunate in other games that shots started falling again after a lull.
Credit to WF - particularly the player shadowing Mitchell all night - they knew if they took him out of the game, they'd have a great chance to win.
