LOUISVILLE VS SYRACUSE GAME THREAD

Same old, same old, silly turnovers and our guards couldn’t guard a chair.

To many turnovers trying to hard to force it inside. I like going inside but we have to be quicker and smarter, where are the alleyoops?

I would like to see more of Nwora too. Good to see Perry playing pretty well.

I don't know how the 2nd half will go I hope better than the 1st. However, from what I have seen in the 1st half we have gotten worse as the season goes on.

Regardless no excuse to look like this against Cuse they are horrible. Im done for the the nite could carfe less if they win or not because this team has no heart.

@zipp hiding away getting his stats ready to explain why Padgett needs to be retained. The kids are losing faith in Padgett; they look super disinterested. Padgett showing for the 2nd time in a row why he doesn't need to be the coach.

Sure, go ahead and blame King for the last shot. But, don't forgot about the extreme amount of minutes McMahmon played when he was TERRIBLE. He also refuses to bench Adel or anyone.

There's no discipline! That's why we continue to see Adel do what he does.

Methinks the short turnaround time from the last game has both teams looking lethargic. Hey, those guys are getting in deep foul trouble and have a thin bench. I think we'll be OK. Just need to hit a few outside J's and keep working that baseline on offense.

McMahon can’t guard the dribble. Adel can’t guard most guys off the dribble. VJ can’t guard most guys off the dribble. Q can’t guard a lot of guys off the dribble. And our bigs get beat off the dribble when they get pulled away from the basket. That leaves Perry as the only guy to guard the dribble, and even he has gotten beat twice tonight. If I’m Padgett, I’ve got to think about a more permanent switch to zone. We used to play that really aggressive matchup zone and get deflection after deflection. Watching these guys play man gives me a headache...

That play says it all about this team.. I hope Padgett was pulling him because of the stunt and not so much that he thought he was hurt.

Just about had enough of Adel.
Yep. I don’t get this kid. He’s not half as good as he thinks he is. The NBA certainly isn’t in his future. Plays great offensively for a few games, then disappears. And down 6 and trying a showtime dunk....idiotic and selfish.

Syracuse can score...we can’t. Turnovers killing us once again. Horrible basketball!

Losing to Virginia is acceptable they are 2nd in the country but there is no excuse to lose this game especially at home.

They’ve quit. Fans have quit and now the team. They just don’t seem to have the will to fight. All of the crap going on probably has finally gotten to them.

There was no excuse to lose our game last Saturday.

Leaving McMahon in the game for forever with horrible turnovers and terrible defense. People just shoot over him.

Padgett finally pulled the players tonight. About time. There's no discipline.

You really need an overbearing strong coach in this situation to keep things under control. I don't blame Padgett because he is not that guy but he is not that guy and it shows. Of course this game isn't yet over but as I said in another thread, things appear to be breaking bad for this team and they could well be headed toward a .500 record. We will see if they have any pride now.

YEP. PUTS IN MCMAHON WHEN ALL THEY DID WAS SHOOT OVER HIM THE FIRST HALF. HORRIBLE. Syracuse is TERRIBLE.

Things are heading south for sure.

I think the refs are sympathetic to the Syracuse situation and not calling every foul.
