I think the way the offense initiates,we probably might not see any of out guards right now,fall into the category of "point" guard.Levitch starting. I like it.
Good start for Mitchell. We need other players to score too, but right now Mitchell is beating NC State by himself. 11 points to start the game.
Scorching start by Mitchell and good job by VJ driving and getting fouled. That is something King does very well.
It makes some here mad whe its said, but Deng Adel has not shown any of this NBA level talent people say he has.
Offensively and defensively he has shown me nothing that garners playing time.

Adel has to get off to a good start or he seems to struggle. Today, he didn't hit his first shot and it went south for him the entire half. He didn't play all that well.
Hopefully he'll hit his first shot of the second half, then he'll contribute. He did make a nice save off his own dribble to find the baby faced assassin wide open for a 3.

Impressive first half. The Cards length and size is causing NC State problems.
Hope Adel gains some confidence in the second half. Agree with every thing in this thread.
Adel seems slow. He closes out poorly(slow) on shooters. Offensively he again seems slow getting to hoop. However he does get on hot spurts. And Pitino seems to always give a lot of playing time to someone that makes me scratch my head. But more often than not by the end of the season he is proven right. So I'll keep scratching my head with Adel and hope this is another case of "Rick knows best".
As long as the Cards win, Adel's offensive woes doesn't matter.
Guarantee Coach Pitino will be happy with his assist/rebound numbers, and not worried about him going 0-6.
There has been several games where Adel was scoreless in the 1st half and scored double figures in the 2nd half.

I've posted on the main board for years, I've had many conversations with you in the past regarding your vitriol for Pitino in the past when you wanted him fired, and recited your daily haterade of him on a consistent basis up until 2013, when we won the championship. Nothing wrong with CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, not dismantling the kid...like you do.
Many of you may not get it, but when Adel clicks and gets it, we will win the national championship
We look good. I'm really impressed with Mangok the past few games, we need him and Johnson to crash the boards to make a deep run. Glad he's finally fulfilling his role. Mitchell just straight balling.

VJ is. Once his defense is up to par with his offense, and we get Q back. Watch out.
I really wish Rick would get Mitchell out of the game. I think we can all say that we got this one.
This. He gets too down on himself when his first few shots don't go in, he needs to learn a thing or two from Mitchell, and just focus on defense..and the offense will come. I remember Donvan saying that a few weeks ago, and look at how his mental toughness and game has transformed the past few weeks.
If we can get everyone healthy and avoid any more major injuries to key players, then this team has a serious shot at a deep NCAA tourney run. They are getting better, and they still have room to grow.
