Nothing but respect from me for Izzo. Year in and year out he has them ready come tournament time. 4th straight sweet 16. A few years ago we were the #1 overall seed and he knocked us out in the elite 8.
IMO one of the best tournament coaches in the history of college hoops. It's going to be a tough game, he'll have his troops ready.

True, but there were some extra off-court distractions that year. Seth just gave State the slight edge. We got this.

I like Izzo, hell of a coach.
Don't really care for their fans. Sat among some Spartan fans in Indy and they thought of the University of Louisville as a non football playing mid major. They were amazed that we had so many fans in Indy.
If I heard "We're Big Ten" once, I heard it a hundred times.

Izzo is a hell of a coach. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about this next game against Sparty.

And once again we will be a slight favorite with Vegas but all of the talking heads will be picking our opponent. All their love will go to MSU. But, that's OK. I think that just further motivates these Cards.
We beat them in 2012. They're beatable. You have to stop Trice. You have to stop him and the other four probably can't. We must hit three free throws and make shots.
I love Pitino, and he ranks as one of the best of all-time. I think that Coach Izzo, Coach Pitino, and Coach K are the three best in the business today.
That said, I sure wouldn't classify MSU fans as cocky at all. I consider us lucky (this year) to make the Elite 8. We have highly-ranked talent, but not the vast numbers of 5 stars like UK, Duke, etc. I like that about MSU and our student athletes - and frankly am proud. Izzo is old school.

From a Michigan Wolverine fan, I wish Louisville the best of luck of tomorrow. I hope you guys curb stimp Sparty! A repeat of 2012 Sweet 16 would be great.

It's pathetic that you have to root for a different team since your own football and basketball programs give you nothing to root for.
Michigan fans in Atlanta were pretty cool.
