The thing is this could be the beginning of a trend with the Cards running off a string of wins. JJ will have plenty of time to soul search since he won’t be playing in any Bowl games this year.

Even despite the past five games before this one, the overall record of the Governor's Cup series is now 16-14 in favor of Louisville. Enough said.
No, but those 6 games (all won by UK) were all 60 years before Schnelly came to Louisville. And in just a few more years from now, I think there's a good chance that we will have the overall record again when even counting those games.
UK counts them, just like they count their NCAA basketball titles when most of them best teams were in the NIT.
Kentucky claims a Helms title in football from 1950 and a couple Helms titles in basketball from the 1920s/30s. They even made trophies years after the seasons.
Yeah a couple of those bball titles were against coal miners playing a game after they worked a 10 hour shift underground.
