LOUISVILLE VS BELLARMINE GAME THREAD- 7PM ACCNX

We just look like a different team than we did prior to Tennessee.. Not sure what's going on. We're not sharp and look weak out there..

Looking better now. I like guys driving more and getting some paint points. Like Chucky Looking to score more too. He's sometimes too unselfish.

Threes are falling making Cards look better. Defensive effort has been better but Bellarmine scores inside quite easily most of the time.

smaller and less physical opponent. i think we are going to be better than 80% of teams btu the ones that are big and meaty are going to give us fits if we do not hit the threes. but like pitino's early uk days, if you rain threes you can win a lot of games but when you can't hit you can't win.

We have a lot of head scratching possessions on offense. When we play people that are good it's just not going to work to dribble in to traffic and to just throw $hit up.

Like to see more accountability with crap possessions

I think the Tennessee game killed the fanbase. Nobody posting in the game thread on here or premium board either

Cards looked better in the 2nd. Think Chucky needs to continue to be aggressive on offense when things stagnate or we need a boost because he can shoot and drive.

Good to see Edwards finally get going on offense. Pryor had a game too.

good game. we played physical and got in their heads. Friday is Winthrop. a better team than Bellarmine at 4-2.
Yeah,Winthrop will compete toe to toe with us and it comes at a perfect time. We'll get tested and hopefully our students show up before they head home for Thanksgiving .

It’s going to be a long(or short depending on how you look at it) season if UofL jacks up 30+ 3s every game.
Well, get used to it because that's what's going to happen, and it's probably the only real option for this team.

There's no post presence. No one is posting up inside, no offensive sets for front court buckets. The emphasis of the offense is to set up open 3 pointers and most everyone has the green light.

I can't see how we don't average thirty 3 point shots a game, especially if we're trailing in a lot of these games.

All of this was foretold before the season started that this was going to be a 3 point shooting offense.

Averaged 30 last year at CofC, so highly likely. We better average close to mid 30's %wise or we will be .500 team.....or worse.

I think they're gonna shoot a good percentage on the 3s IF they don't get baited into launching the first thing they see. Get the shots out of the offense, off of passes and that % will be much better.

I agree with just about every point, but especially the “Well get used to it” 😆!

I think what you all are discussing is an evolution in the game. Look at this article about the same thing happening at the next level that just came out today...

https://washingtonpost.com/sports/2024/11/19/nba-three-point-shooting/
de-evolution in many people’s eyes, and the NBA ratings show! The NBA is unbearable to watch by many dribble, dribble, dribble, and 3 point shot.
What is so evolutionarily about shooting a 💩ton of 3s besides the “analytics?
