I still expect Michigan to be his choice but Louisville has done a good job in this one to stay close. Contact has been good between the two parties and if it wasn't for Covid-19 he would have already been on campus. These are strange times where coaches are filling spots with prospects they've never seen in person and prospects committing to schools they've never visited.

Two weeks ago, Hood gave his take on the current state of affairs to The Wolverine's EJ Holland, "It’s tough. Everything right now is based on pictures, videos and words. It’s kind of hard because I’m a visual person. I like to see things. I’m kind of in an easier situation because I’m highly recruited. I don’t feel the pressure to commit soon. But there might be players that aren’t as heavily recruited as me and want to lock up a spot. Maybe they are but just have the school they want. It’s just a tough situation. I talk to a lot of football heads all the time, and they tell me to commit and some tell me to hold on. It’s just confusing because this isn’t normal."

This morning I asked Hood if he was going to hold out until things re-opened or if he was going to lock in a spot like so many others. He told me that he was close to locking in a spot but doesn't have a particular date in mind.
