Contracts with no performance penalties are empty words and do nothing but cost more money. This piece of trash is sinking this university and he will NOT negotiate the buyout. Why would he? I hope this solid gold parachute crashes on his head, but he will get a job elsewhere because, ya know.

Sure he will. Sometimes it's not about what you accomplish but what your connections are or your skiill in a particular endeavor. This guy couldn't have legitimately graduated from high school without being able to read let alone college, yet here we are. In control of a men's basketball program worth tens of millions.
Per the ESPN Predictor, this team has regressed since early in the season. I began tracking it on November 21, when we were 2-3. We’ve gone from a prediction then of winning 9 games, to a prediction now of winning 8.
If we are improving. It certainly isn’t showing up in any statistically measurable way. And CKP hasn’t done anything since he’s been here to make anyone think we can take his “expert” word for it.

He'll get another assistant job somewhere if he wants it. He sure hasn't acted like he wants this job. Now he's in the position of defending himself for the results and you see the arrogance. I think that arrogance prevents him from taking a lower ring job, and is probably what prevented him from ever taking a lower ring job all these years.
Been surrounded by top players nearly his entire existence. It's why him accepting this job never made sense to me. His heart isn't really in it for all the aspects required. He does identify with players, but that's about it.
So yeah he'll be back @ UK, or maybe some NBA franchise. But he ain't some candidate for Michigan or any other job worth much as a top guy. He'd have to be willing to go to a bottom floor D1 program, and he doesn't look cut like that.

I can’t imagine any scenario where he is ever a head coach again. He came here with no head coaching experience and he leaves here with his reputation and this program in shambles. Who wants to take that on? I’m guessing Cal doesn’t even want him back. My best guess that he runs back to his buddies like WWW and takes a cushy job doing nothing…just like he did before he came here.
Or, like he is currently doing right here and, right now…
