Senior center Malik Williams will miss the game in Bowling Green, a school spokesman told Matt McGavic of Louisville Report. The spokesman did not specify a reason for Williams’ absence, but a source confirms to Card Chronicle that he is currently in Covid protocol. Williams did not make the trip to Bowling Green with the rest of the team

I grew up learning that lville basketball is full court press most of the game and get steals and points off turnovers, not this just jank it up from 3 35 times a game. Idk we haven't won a single game in the tourny and have missed it like half the time we've had Mack... I'm sure we could outpay Iona lol man I wish we could hire everybody back without it being a HUGE DEAL to everybody else

Western has made 9 of 11 from behind the arc. Many of the 9 were NBA range. The Cards defense what else can they really do? If a team is making them at that clip, you're not going to win.

And isn't it just typical that this happens when the Cards have made 9 3's of their own? Would any of us thought the Cards would be down 9 at the half after making 9 of 19 from deep?

It's really weird and frustrating times with Louisville hoops.

Is it not time for Mack to stop putting Sam in the game? Except if foul trouble or we're up big? He can do nothing right. Withers is right there with him but his size keeps him on the court.

I don't see what Sam brings to the team now. It used to be rebounding and the medium range shot but not any more. He continues to try to do things he isn't very good at.

Cards are so unlucky with loose balls and long rebounds. Does anyone remember us getting any long rebounds from our long misses? The ball rarely ever ricochets right back to us for a easy basket. Happens for other teams all the time.

They should ask him why he can’t recruit better players than WKU and is that a winning formula for starting ACC play.
