says as in 2014 is rated #3 under Clemson and FSU in the Atlantic and #2 after up and comer GT in the Coastal Div. As we all know UL has a feisty front seven on Defense and Lindy agrees that T Grantham and his style of play keeps other Offenses out of kilter. Says that UL's O-Line is suspect because of depth and youth. Also, Lindy's is unsure about depth at the wide-out positions. However, Lindy's says that CBP has went the JUCO route and replenished his ranks with Wide-outs Jamari Staples and others! Bonafon seems to be the incumbent QB, and if not, there is Bolin, a highly touted QB, from Ky as well as Will Gardner. Lindy's is very high on Brandon Radcliff at RB, burly LJ Scott a shifty bull, a Diminutive Corvin Lamb. As most of us knows CBP predicates his Offenses with a stud RB. On the QB situation UL was unable to establish a very credible QB during the 2014 season because of interfering injuries. On Bolin's situation, he came in during the UK game because of his injury and performed exceptionally well.
Lindy's is extremely high on UL's Defense ands give teams fits. UL's front seven has an advantage there over almost all teams it will play, but Lindy's says UL's Backfield, other than JH Clemmons and Shag Wiggins at the Corners is suspect, However, Lindy's says CBP too has infused the backfield with talented depth and should fair out well.
As a fan of CBP since the Jon'L Smith years at UL CBP's Offense from day one were quite exceptional and set the tone for exceptional seasons. In fact, CBP's Offenses often bailed his defenses. His Offenses would jump on an opponent's Defense, score often and early in a flurry of points, 2nd half rely on his burly, shifty, and fast RB/TB ( E Shelton, Smith, M Bush) to the house! In fact, due to CBP's lack of QB experience commentators have rationalized that CBP during 2014 season had to scale back his offense, as well as CCS's lack of recruitment of quality O-Linemen, and CBP's having to recruit o-linemen and train them. Even so, CBP's system is very effective, as with his attention to detail, fast-paced training methods, and uncanny Offensive guru talent.
In 2015 CBP will have had his team for the 2nd year. He is having coaching continuity, hands on QB training, and player placement. Spring training has produced very positive results with Bonnafon, Bolin etc! And with this Lindy's is impressed. Lindy's thinks another 8-4, 9-3 season! Any comments appreciated!
