Crazy draft night...went from a Top 5 NFL Selection to a drop due to being caught on Instagram with a gas mask and bong right before the draft...then another Twitter/intragram account has him taking payments from Ole Miss Coaches...now the NCAA gonna have to get involved:

Former Ole Miss offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil admitted Thursday night that he took money from a Rebels coach.

"I made a mistake," Tunsil said at a press conference at the NFL Draft in Chicago. "That happened."

When asked to clarify if comment that meant he took money from an Ole Miss coach, Tunsil said "I'd have to say yeah."

The revelation was just part of Tunsil's bizarre draft night. Expected to be a top five pick, Tunsil was passed over until No. 13 after a video of him wearing and smoking from a gas-mask bong was posted on his Twitter account just before the draft started. The Dolphins selected the Lake City, Fla. native.

Tunsil claimed his Twitter was hacked.

Tunsil's Instagram account was also, as the lineman claimed, hacked Thursday.

The lineman's Instagram account, which was verified by the service, posted two possible screenshots of messages between what is presumably Tunsil and John Miller, who is listed as an assistant athletic director of football operations on the Ole Miss website.

The veracity of the text messages has not been proven. Tunsil has since deactivated his Instagram account.

Dolphins general manager Chris Grier addressed the video in a press conference after Tunsil was selected.

"We had heard rumors, but we had done work. We had known about it," Grier said. "The video is two years old. So, from all the information we had, we were comfortable with it."

When asked by a member of the media if Tunsil loves football more than he loves drugs, Grier replied with a blunt: "yes."

When teams start recruiting at a much higher level than is their norm, more than likely some shady is going down.

The NCAA slaps wrists on the traditional power but may not hesitate to go strong on Ole Miss.

Of course he's stupid for allowing himself to get pictured smoking out, the weed...for me that's almost a non-issue, though it is fair to question him for allowing himself to be pictured doing it.

He'll probably be the steal of the draft.

Kind of hard to feel for a guy who just became less of a millionaire than he had hoped, because his actions were exposed on a national (even international) scale. As uncomfortable as it was to watch, he will still be a millionaire and be able to pursue his dream of playing in the NFL. But damn...that was high drama to witness. Imagine being in Hugh Freeze's shoes, or John Miller (the Ole Miss football staffer who was shown in tweets arranging to help Tunsil pay bills) , or his agent, or the teams who WERE planning on drafting him, or The Miami Dolphins. To be a fly on THOSE walls...Priceless.

This is a real bad look on Ole Miss, but all they are guilty of is trying to keep up with everyone else.

College football has just become too important financially, and the entire landscape is muddied.

Wouldn't be surprised if Miss St is not doing the same thing as Ole Miss with the commits they have been getting the past couple of years.
