Kyle named starter vs Virginia

I just think it's weird that with KB we see the return of Brandon Radcliff, Crum, Lamb...
We ran for maybe 50 more yards than Syracuse surrenders each game on average. It helps to get guys going on offense by playing one of the nation's worst defenses...

Yes, that's only the difference between playing the 73rd ranked rushing defense vs the 110th. Completely comparable. <Eyeroll> Do you proofread before posting?

After watching CPB's presser I'm not sure why LJ didn't start. At the 3:05 mark, our very own Howie posed coach a question, CBP answered that "Lamar came out Tuesday and looked pretty good but then Wed and Thursday really had a set back."

Is the set back from injury, attitude, bad practices, other?

Nice win!

Go Cards!

I was told to forget about KB under center with Lamar and Reggie in the game all at the same time. It still may be a dream that never comes true but I can't help but think about how lethal that trio could be. KB under center, LJ behind him, and RB lining up in the slot. Staples and Quick could be the deep threats with Jackson and Reggie doing what they do which is making plays.

Yeah it's a dream, but maybe it'll come true. :D

Not to disagree with your curiosity about how the offense would look, but isn't a practical reason not to do that NOT to expose your entire QB depth chart to injuries on more plays--or the SAME play?

I guess we could put all of the backup kickers on the coverage teams too. :)

That's a good point but it's not the entire QB depth. We would still have Will Gardner plus what are the odds all 3 would get hurt?

It doesn't really matter because it won't happen anyway. It's too late in the year to be revamping the offense that radically.

Will Gardner is not a factor in any sense. He's our best QB but he will never play again and I think everyone knows that by now, right?
