Kyle Bolin

Rutgers fan I come in Peace! I wanted to give an up-date on your former QB. He was a great ambassador for L-Ville. In a few short months he won over the locker room and was voted by his peers as one of the teams Captains. (Very Impressive) Good luck this year.

Great dude and awesome QB, he never had an OL here to show his true abilities. Put him in the pocket and let it fly.

Welcome and I miss playing you guys. I'll never forget Mohammed Sanu senior season and you plyed us in PJCS and he went down with a slight injury which stopped the game and both teams ķnelt for prayers. He was fine then we had a player go down later with a back/neck injury. Both teams came onto the field, both knelt and prayed, as the game was delayed. That since of respect and support is rarely seen. Hope to get you on the schedule again. Maybe we get you on there for theopener in 2020.

He is a terrific young man and a fan favorite in Louisville. If your O-line can protect him, he will do well. He gets in trouble (like most QB's) when he feels pressure.

RU fan here. In watching a couple full game tapes on Bolin it appears he's pretty good at getting the team into the right play and making the right read but it also looks like he lacks arm strength. What would you say are his biggest strengths and on the flip side, biggest weaknesses?

That's pretty spot on. His lack of a cannon arm is his weakness. His strength is he's a born leader. I agree with others who think later on he's going to be a really good head coach.

Bolin battling it out with OC Jerry Kill to see who's going to give the worst performance of the night. Maybe the worst display of offensive play calling since krapthorpe.

Bros... Kyle Bolin is average at best. I understand he played at Louisville for us but lets face it, he is not that good or athletic. However, I am glad to see him play somewhere for his final season.

Go cards

He's an average FCS starting QB which means he's pretty damn talented. Nowhere in this thread do I think anyone confused him with Fran Tarkenton. Most realize his athletic limitations but also realize he's a tough, very smart dude that was L1C4.

In his defense.....he did make the #8 ranked UW team and defense look pretty average in the first RU drive for a TD to start the game. And RU kept it close for the first half. UW asserted themselves in the 2nd half to pull away.

Kyle did not get much help in the play calling aspect....you could say he was 'Kill'ed in his efforts to move the Scarlet Knights!

Jerry Kill seems to enjoy not giving his offense an opportunity to win games. Kyle Bolin will always be L1C4 in my book.

GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!

Knowing who to get it to based on what's in front of him. He'll direct the offense.
Thanks for sharing op.Fine young man.

I was impressed with Rutgers defense, their running backs, and although their OL is inexperienced- they only gave up 1 sack, and that was because Kyle tripped.

They give Washington fits for 2 1/2 quarters then the issue became -depth or lack of depth for RU on defense. Turay had an exceptional gmae as DE and if he continues he'll get a chance at the next level.

Now about the play calling on Offense, Kill had not called plays since 2008 with a young OL, a transfer QB against the number 8th ranked team. The game was called to not get blown out and to keep the ball out of Washington's hands which was successful with runs and short passes.

Washington's depth just wore RU down. Kyle did alright -I give him a B-. He was hampered by conservative play calling. The first interception he threw trying to make something happen, the other out of frustration.

RU fans keep your heads up. You'll be better than last year-keep Kyle healthy.

Go Kyle. Forever a fan favorite, just got caught up behind some guy named Jackson that is pretty good.
