I had them losing in all my brackets to Michigan State except one where I had them losing to Belmont. I just wasn't impressed with them all season even though they kept winning. This isn't college football. You can't win the championship with defense only and the Cavs just didn't have enough offense.
They were very fortunate in a lot of games, many against teams who didn't even make the post season. (Va Tech, Wake) So many times I shook my head at the sports pundits constantly tooting the Virginia horn. Bilas, Jay Williams and Dickie V all had them going to the final 4. Just like Villanova, I though they were going to get upset. That's why I was so surprised and happy when I saw the Cards bracket with those two. Now if we can just get by the mid-major powerhouse UNI, we have a #7 and #8 seed standing in the way of another final 4. Of course there's #3 Oklahoma but I think Sparty is going to beat them. Unless of course the home court advantage #11 seed Dayton eliminates the Sooners.
