I think for fans that these kickoff classics will increase in popularity to travel to while bowls will get deemphasized.

I’d rather go to a game Labor Day weekend when I know the coach will be in place, the team is fully constituted and I have ample time to make travel plans.

I went to the Auburn game in ATL, the Purdue game in Indy and will be going to the Bama game in Orlando next year. If you are someone that getting disappointed by the deemphasis on bowl games, I’d recommend these kickoff games to fill the void.

Knuckle I think your post makes sense.

GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!

The extra month of practice is priceless for the growth and development of players. Priceless!

This.

Extra contact practice helps everybody.

It’s one reason why southern HS FB, with “real” Spring practice is so much better than KY

And the classic games are neutral site games.
All game except bowl/playoff games should be home and home.

Everyone is fired up...Coaches and Players are locked in....easy travel to great cities like Orlando, Indianapolis, Dallas, Atlanta and would like to see more added.

Would like to see the change to allow Red Shirts to play in the Bowls to offset Draft Eligible players sitting out...Bowl Games go completely back to being rewards for a Non Losing Season and becomes more about going forward to the next season...let the young guys play and see what they got...

I think neutral site games are great. Great matchups, excited fanbases, no homecooking to skew the results.

You remember when Penn state, Texas, Tennessee, FSU all came here to
Louisville.

Also nothing is more gratifying than winning a true road game.
Winning @ Morganhole is still fresh for Cards fans.

Id rather play @ Bama and have them come to Louisville in return, than in Orlando.

One of the main reason for stadium expansion is for the pending Notre Dame game.
Otherwise, you can just play them in Indianapolis.

Either Clemson and FSU still come here every year. Bama wouldn’t come here, so playing them at a neutral site is the best alternative. I’d suggest you try to go to one of these games...you’ll love it.
