To me, the key stat I will be looking at tonight is rebounding. This team presents a different challenge than we have faced thus far in the young season, that being, their bigs have big time size. Hopefully our length can compete with their bulk down low.

This could be a telling game for our season outlook on the boards. Go Cards.

I wonder if CRP is tinkering with the idea of going big with Mahmoud, Johnson and Spaulding up front with Mitchell and Snider. Right now we don't have any firepower or spark off the bench and I think Adel may play better coming off the bench.

This will be a huge test for the front court. I'm interested to see how they deal with Purdue's bigs. And yeah rebounding will be a key stat.

Rebounding will be critical and key stat tonight for sure.

The Cards are averaging 15 assists per game so I am not sure that assists are really an issue for this team.

I will be most interested in seeing how Pitino elects to defend and "control/limit" Purdue's bigs. Cards need to control tempo/pace and play to their own strengths at the guard and wing positions.

Averages are misleading, especially if you play weaker teams. We only had 11 total assists against Baylor and clearly we're looking to score instead of passing the ball.
