I worked within the federal justice system for twenty five years. The feds will not pursue this.
If criminal charges are brought against them it would be at the state level. But, that will not prevent them from talking as you say to save their own skin. I've seen mothers rat on their kids, kids rat on their parents, husbands sequel on their wives, etc, etc......the loss of freedom causes people to talk real fast.
Even the IRS rarely pursues tax evasion against people who have committed crimes that produced illegal income (example: drug dealers, prostitutes, bookies) unless the dollar amount is way up there or the criminal obtained a lot of property (houses, land, boats, cars, etc).
Any investigative agency can determine how much money a person has made at what ever their illegal activity was just by calculating your cost of living expenses (rent, utilities, groceries, inventorying personal property, etc) especially if you don't have real employment.
When a prostitute gets busted they get charged for that crime and all these other scenarios are not pursued because of the low level of the crime. If she is seeking immunity it is probably because she has information of a criminal nature that she participated in related to the allegations and the statute of limitations has not run out.
