Let's award a few Fall 2020 awards for the Louisville women's basketball squad. True, we don't have a wealth of results to go with, but, it's highly subjective and could create some interesting dialouge.

We'll offer three categories:

1) Favorite WBB moment of Fall 2020

2) M.O.P of 2020 (Most Outstanding Player) BESIDES DANA EVANS?

3) Best "newcomer" to the WBB Program. (Didn't play last year for the WBB squad).

I'll go first.

1) Watching that third quarter destruction of DePaul. 40 points in 10 minutes. So beautiful to see.

2) Give me the solid play of Kianna Smith. Sat the first two and has been on fire ever since.

3) This is a tough one. Olivia or Hailey, Olivia or Hailey. I go with Hailey.

1. Moment - Depaul - entire game. The team was hitting on all cylinders and having fun.
2. MOP.(other than Dana). I go with Cochran. She has provided a strong, consistent inside presence both defensively and offensively.
3. Based on how I answered #2 I have to again go with Cochran. Albeit, Hailey is right there with her. I need to see more of Kianna. I think, the more she plays, the better she’ll get.

I have to go with the DePaul game as well, that game was really impressive especially since DePaul just defeated top 10 Kentucky.

MOP for me would be Hailey because she is the complete package. Scoring, assist, rebounding, defense and her handles. She pushes the ball up court really quick and sets a really fast pace to the game.

My best newcomer would be HVL also but I have to admit I really like this team. Olivia and Kianna are super and this could be my favorite Cardinal team all time.

1. DePaul - we destroyed them, they just beat #9 UK by 4.

2. Kianna Smith by far the best newcomer, arguably the best player on the team.

3. I love HVL, but Cochran is dominant. It’s only a matter of time until she’s a national brand. She’s a beast.

Depaul for the first quesion and Kianna Smith for questions 2 and 3 if she fits the definition of someone who did not play for the WBB squad last year. She plays so smoothly and under control. I knew she was a good player but completely underestimated her talent. There were rumours that she was the best player in practices last year but I did not believe it.

For me it was the Duke game mainly because it was a conference game.
M.O.P has to go to Kianna. She’s just so smooth.
Best Newcomer has to be HVL. Her nonstop intensity and work ethic is contagious. Pure winner!

Although seeing us bury DePaul my favorite was putting it to in conference Duke. Anytime we can pound Duke it’s a good day.
As as MOP I’ve got to go with HVL. Not only can she shoot, but she can defend.
Best new comers, well I’m going to go with the best surprise new comer. Got to be Kianna Smith. Love her game. Love HVL game too!
The next four years should be awesome. If we don’t bring home the hardware sometime in the next 4 years I’ll be stunned,
