I watched the whole game today and we won anyway! I just felt good about our chances today. We had already weathered UM's ace and they had gone pretty deep in their pitching staff already. Besides, there was always tomorrow if I cost us the game today.
I almost gave up after the UM home run in the first but decided to hang in a little while longer. Then I got a bit nervous in the 8th and 9th but stayed with them until the end.
By the way, I also started watching the game yesterday but stopped when the rain delay started. I left the house to run some errands but forgot to turn off the game as well. When I got back, the game was heading into the 7th inning and we were down 1-0. So I turned off the game and immediately we started our rally!
I'm sure glad all that is over now.
