Jaire Alexander

I've read on twitter that Jaire's Dad says he is still day-to-day, but he won't play unless he is 100%.

If he doesn't play the front 7 must harass their QB all night for the Cards to win - IMO. Can't rely on the other corners to cover.

That's the right thing to do. It's just 1 game and his health is more important. If he isn't 100%, he should not even think about playing. Nothing good can come from him playing hurt.

This is not always true. It depends on his injury. If, in fact, he has a bone bruise and that is all it is, he could easily play and be very effective. The problem is with a bone bruise when you play on it the pain keeps coming back. However, after Clemson he could rest up for 3 weeks and be ready for NCST. We won't need him vs. Kent and Murray. I'm just not all that convinced that was really his only injury.

Yep, you boys got it. If he's not 100%, have him sit it out. Next man up! I'm confident in the next guy, the crowd will be behind them! Hope Jaire gets to feeling better! Going to need him down the stretch!

Go Cards! Beat Clemson! Beat Everybody!

Dont have a good feeling that he will play on Saturday. Big loss for us if so.

There is nothing to be gained by Petrino saying he does or does not play. But, I saw that injury when it happened, I just don't have a good feeling about him playing for a while. Kind of like DeVante Parker in 2.0's first year.

Yeah, I'm guessing he sprained his knee. If so I can't imagine he'd play.

Bobby's playing poker with the "day to day" thing. I would not be surprised if he is done for the year. Having played in only part of one game, he'd be eligible for a medical redshirt if he goes that route. Depending on the injury, he may be knocked out of first round status (that's my pure speculation though). When I saw that injury in slow motion, I said "he's done for the year" to myself. I hope I am wrong and will happily eat a Golden Corral buffet of crow until I get the diabeetus if I am.
