Its officially rivalry week......BEAT UK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And put pressure on Johnson with a few key sacks here and there. While not giving up any big plays in the secondary. Order that up.

Get the ball first and score. Score again, and make the cats play from behind till they fold like a cheap suit. That's the ticket....works for me.

Kentucky has been out played stastically in every game except Vanderbilt and EKU, we will win if we don’t turn the ball over.

I still don’t trust our defense, so my bipolarism is in full swing.

One thing I'm really glad about is that UK actually had to play a good SEC team the week before us. We all know that since the game moved to the end of the season UK has either had the week before the game as a bye week or a gimme easy win game. Meanwhile here are our games the week before the UK game the last 3 years:

2014: At Notre Dame
2015: At Pittsburgh
2016: At Houston

I truly believe that has been a big difference in the game and the biggest reason why UK upset us last year and have played us close in other years. We had a hangover after the big ND win in 2014 and were reeling after the Pittsburgh and Houston losses. Meanwhile UK essentially had two weeks to prepare, rest and get healthy.

Not trying to use it as an excuse, we should still beat UK either way, but I do like the fact that the playing field is truly even in this game for the first time since 2013. Now given with our defense I'm still a little bit nervous about this game. We all know that we are UK's Super Bowl every year and that we won't get the UK effort that we saw against Georgia, Ole Miss or Mississippi State. Never mind they are playing to get to 8 wins and that could be the difference in going to the Liberty Bowl or going to the Belk, Music City or even TaxSlayer bowl. We'll be getting UK's best effort and we have to be prepared for that.

Negate Smell and the cats running game.....and win the game doing what Lamar does best. And harass Johnson with pressure and he will choke, puke, and falter in their offense.:D

I didn't think we had much of a shot in this game after the Wake game. But Jaire is back playing again and I don't think it's a coincidence that he's back and we had probably our 2 best defensive games of the year.

Granted the 2 opponent teams were banged up/not playing as well as they did earlier in the year. Still, the past 2 games UofL is moving in the right direction. Hopefully they will finish strong and take some momentum into Bowl season.

Really interesting to see how the tone has changed over a few weeks. Really have no idea what to expect from either team. I thought a few weeks back KY had the better overall team. Not for sure now, UK's defense just hasn't played very well. Give a slight edge to UL overall.

The main reason I changed my pick from Kentucky to Louisville is that Louisville was able to rest many players yesterday while Kentucky got banged up against Georgia yesterday

It wasn’t just Jaire. It was the combo of Alexander, Thomas, and Bailey. They all three were out at some point. You’re correct it wasn’t a coincidence. Look at the pressure that’s been on the QBs since they all returned and are 100%.

I think what could be just as important is that Hearns is now playing like the player we thought he was. Also the emergence of Dorian Etheridge

Being a 28.5 point favorite, with a Heisman winning QB, at home.... Give Kentucky 12 weeks to prepare, never should have been in a situation to lose to them last year. The Scheduling has nothing to do with it and never should be an excuse.

You have to, you have no other choice tame cat! Saturday will tell the tale. Cards will prevail....and you will certainly be BLUE.

And you have no other choice but your D Tweety bird! Saturday will tell the tale. Cats will prevail....and you will certainly be RED.

Damn. I thought it was rivalry week. I guess everything short of a girls volleyball game giving high fives and butt smacks after every play is unacceptable. O well. Cats prevail 31-24. Have a good day.

I was blacklisted from otis board for wayyyyy lesss....

Several of us UofL posters on the main football board have made sig bets with several UK posters. You guys have any good pics or meme suggestions to make that the UK posters would have to post with until the National Championship game? We/I need some good ideas. Something along the lines of this classic:
