Cards nemesis will be in town.

Been close but no cigar for 3 straight games.

Defense has taken a step back so the Cards will have to win in a shootout.

Last years game was a shootout at 42-36.

Hopefully Clemson wins tonite, so the Cards are playing the best.

Wasnt pretty today however they got the win.

Cards will finally knock off the ACC Kings, and beat Clemson .

Go Cards !

I have to see what Clemson does tonight against Auburn to get a feel for them. They beat up on poor Kent St. They supposedly have a really good D. However on offense they don't have Deshaun Watson to save them out of trouble.

Going to be a fun week. Kudos to Superman and our Offensive line for growing up a bunch today. Came at a good time, the Clemson front 7 is going to be a bear to handle.

We now, hopefully, have a confident and efficient running game. That will help out a lot moving forward.

Clemson' defense is top notch.

Their offense isnt as explosive, yet theyre ranked #3 for a reason.

Clemson fan here, this game will come down to the trenches as most always do. Chalk that up to us both offensively and defensively. Going to be tough to start with but we weather your initial noise and settle it we come away with a good W on the road. Jackson is great but it will take discipline to win a game of this magnitude and I don't see that from your crew. Good luck look forward to a clean injury free game.

Thanks for visiting. It is good that you have confidence going into this game. In fact.....you sound a bit over confident.....like that too.

Good luck to Clem son and also hope for a clean injury free game. Hope you enjoy your stay in Louisville....and the sting of the L as you return to S.Carolina.

As far as the trenches go....you may very well be right....however, the UofL "O" line may surprise you a bit.....Oh, and the Cards have Lamar....and you don't!

If the game becomes a scoring affair like last years at your place....I like the Cards chances to bring home the 'W".

Clemson fan here. Normally I'd agree with the other Clemson poster above that the battle in the trenches will decide this (it usually does). I also agree that Clemson has a big advantage with it's DL vs your OL. I'd give Clemson a slight advantage with their OL vs your DL.

I think though, that you throw usual out the door when you are playing THE best college football player in the country (and IMHO, it's not even close). Look for a very methodical approach from Clemson's offense. They are probably going to try and lean HEAVILY on the run game/short pass. LONG scoring drives will be the ideal here as even Jackson can't score if he's not on the field (at least I THINK he can't).

Clemson's defense can limit Jackson as long as they aren't gassed from being on the field too long. But I don't think any team can completely shut him down. He's just too good... You just try and limit the damage he does and don't let him run wild.

If Clemson's offense has success as mentioned above, I like Clemson's chances. If not UL wins this one.

I think the only way the cards come out on top is if we manage to get pressure on the Clemson QB and if our offensive play calling is primarily quick hitters, draws, and screens. One of those we can control, one of those Clemson's o-line controls. The way Bobby has called the first 2 games shows me he has added more quick hitters and the offense has had sustained success in moving the football. I like our chances with a pumped up home crowd and defensive pressure being primarily about energy. Cards keep it close, but this one is going down to the wire. 35-28. I could see either side pulling it off.

I see no way we do anything even remotely close to what we did to FSU last year. It's either going to be a comfortable tigers victory or the close game described above.

Oh I forgot one more intangible in our favor. Coaching, lots of boxes checked for the Tigers just have to stop one player. I like our chances

Vegas has this game as a toss-up which means there's no way anyone should be confident in predicting a win or loss. The outcome will go into the 4th quarter in all likelihood.

After a full day of tailgating in those parking lots in good weather, one thing I can count on is the place will be rockin'. If Clemson's new guys on offense can handle that, they'll have the edge. If not, Louisville will. The game is predicted to be that close...

Yeah this will be their first away game, at night, in front of 50-60,000 opposing fans who have been hyped up all day. Place will be shaking loud.

Yep and we sure have not played in those environments before.
It is an EXTREMELY confident bunch on Tigernet.

I just hope you guys don't hurt us after the way you've totally dominated us for three years.

Please be kind to us when you get here. And BTW....we're a friendly crowd as long as you are. ;)

Football games are won on the line of scrimmage "Advantage clemson". Our defence will not win the game for us. They are a bend but dont break D.So that leaves me with we have to play mistake free football and will need some mistakes from clemson young guys like a pick six or some fumbles to win this game. Go Cards!!

Doesn't matter as much whether the coach and fans have seen it. It's about the guys in your line-up on the road for the first time. Like our guys experienced in DV last year.

Whether it's anything to be proud/ashamed of, there will be nearly 60 thousand people in attendance who will be, on average, above the limit for legal intoxication trying to affect the outcome of that game. Should be fun to watch...

Oddly he's been Clemson's secret weapon in two of the previous games.

Last season, Lamar passed for 300 and ran for 160. In fact, our backs averaged over 5 yards a carry against the Clemson defense. His QB rating was 120, lol - as a freshman behind a hideously weakening O line. We gained 273 yards on the ground, with Radcliffe and Smith both having excellent games.

Clemson fans over rate the impact of their defense. Having said that, even I concede they are monsters, particularly with the physicality of their DB's. They remind me of our '13 National Champs who also laid on hands on defense to whatever degree the refs allowed. However..........we know them well. Do they believe somehow they are going to surprise us?>? Really??

Lamar gained over 450 yards against them as a first year starter with big flaws and yet, they believe they can "control" him? Their QB is about equal ability so far as Steve Johnson for UK. Ignore his running ability at your peril. But his passing and that running game is not Clemson quality, based on the last 3 years. His very first away game, under the lights in front of a fire-breathing, pumped up UofL crowd? I think it will get ugly.

I see us winning large, always have said so.
