No question or debate about it. Same players from last year, but not the same results. These guys played hard and were hitting. I was worried with our 1st qtr defense that looked like last year, but they got in their groove quickly after that.
Bobby's best move last year was redshirting Hawkins, would have been a crime to waste him last season.
I was hoping for 4 or 5 Ws this season. Now I am thinking 7 or 8 is very possible with this team.
All I wanted was to beat the spread and look competitive but if not for the silly turnovers, we have a shot at winning that game. What a difference this new staff makes!
