Tough day but it could be worse! I mean DePaul just offered an ex-coach an opportunity to come back and St. John's just offered their job to Chris Mullin, who has never coached a game in his life!

Mind boggling that these basketball rich cities dont dominate or compete.
Has to be coaching.
Coach Pitino would have either top 10 in 5 years or less.

Or the administration. I don't know if DePaul can attract anyone that's competent since they haven't shown a commitment to improving.
Plus, we could be GaTech, which kept Gregory (need I say more?). Maybe they believed Rick when he called Gregory one of the top 15 coaches in the nation. Nevertheless, they might be the only ACC team that isn't serious about basketball. A shame since they are capable of so much more with better commitment from the administration.
