I was at my twins football practice last night and we are running some QB drills and I look over and see Nolan Smith with his son (named Derek BTW). Talked with him for about 5 minutes. Very good guy and his son wanted to watch the boys play football, I'm guessing he was about 3. I know we get caught up in all the crap surrounding our program and this and that, hell I do it too, but Twitter, a shitty basketball team aside l, Nolan was a very nice guy with an energetic personality. I really enjoyed our quick convo. Gave each other a bro hug and wished him luck this upcoming season. That's all I had, sometimes it's all about perspective. But ask me again if we are 10-20, lol!!
