Heard today, and it's just an interesting theory, but who is to say that Lonzo Ball's father didn't bet against UCLA on Friday and told him not to try (i.e. Pete Rose)? It seemed like he passed up shot after shot, and wasn't really trying at all. Maybe nothing to it, but there could be something to it. Thoughts...?

GO CARDS! Next year will be special, however, it's baseball season and we are #1. We're not just a one sport school!

The GM that takes him will be taking a pure cancer. Lavar Ball and his big mouth will be a constant distraction and IMO, he just isn't worth it.

If I'm a GM I'm taking Fultz, Jackson (KU), and Tatum all over Ball. Maybe even fox and Dennis smith jr.

He's not that good.

I agree, I coached 26 years at middle and high school levels, and Ball see's the floor great, but there are so many flaws in his game I am not sure where to start. All I have to say is Mr. Ball did a poor job of teaching his sons the basic's. I personally think he will do fine in the regular season because the NBA doesn't play that hard on Defense, but when the game counts NBA guards will eat him up.

Just looks to me like his style lacks the required substance. People think the NBA is about flash but it's not. I watch multiple NBA games a night and the majority of the games are incredibly competitive and this guy has a long way to go to being a rotation player IMO. Starting PG is an elite fraternity at that level and I see him struggling, not hitting the ground running.

I could be 100% wrong - maybe he was holding back some in college. Even if he was holding back, that's not a good attribute to have either.

Fox has a competitive fire that can't be taught, Lonzo appears to be one of those guys that thinks he's better than he is.
Fox will be a much better pro than Ball. No doubt about that IMO. Fox has a better attitude, and a stronger competitive drive. Ball is just another player who thinks he's entitled because he's been told so his whole life.
