Interesting Joe Lunardi RPI Rankings

I know this is early but this is extremely interesting. Someone please correct me if I'm reading this wrong but according to Lundardi's daily RP! rankings Louisville is #10. UK is #32.

the top ten and ahead of UL?

No really, I don't mind discussing it now. And thanks for pointing out those 3 teams ahead of UL. Lets not forget that those three plus 28 more are ahead of UK. But, yes, it is early.

My point...do you think that those 3 are better than UL? certainly I don't
and do you think that 31 teams are better that UK?

Lesser team with returning upper classmen have a major advantage early on
major teams that are replacing 4/5/6 of last year's rotation
whether it's UK, Duke, or UL.......get 15/20 game in, then take a look.

P.S. I'm not saying that UK will be top 5..10..or 25 then..
All Fr don't progress at the same level and we certainly don't
have a Davis or Towns this year.

Got it. My point is that these rankings, though early, are based on performance metrics and at this point in the season ours are looking pretty favorable even though we too are replacing a great deal of our roster.

I'd rather Louisville have the #10 RPI right now than the #100 RPI, or worse.

Well, no. But, they have lost 3 games.
Comparing scores is not an exact science.

Joe L's science or math is one I don't understand.
Rather read media ratings from people who never
see most teams play. (or fans like me who has seen games only of top teams)
Watching on tv between naps and and zapping channels to see 4/5 games at the same time is my way.........not so accurate......you'll never hear me say I'm an expert.

Not much any team can do about SOS in conference,
no one talks about OOC ..SOS.

I suppose our SOS with look pretty good after KU & UL games, and could go south after that.
