How's everyone? I'm a UofL fan that reads everything UofL, most of which is free. I'm currently a paying subscriber to Scout and am wondering if anyone can give me a current comparison to the insider boards between the sites. I definitely enjoy listening to Howie and it seems that he keeps things up-to-date. Although I think the info on Scout is good and reliable, I want to reach out and see if this could be a better fit? If anyone has had experience with both, I'd appreciate some feedback. Thanks!

I'm subscribed to all three sites and I have to say that this is the most reliable of the three. The other two have a tendency to jump the gun on somethings; more so with 247. Howie won't report information unless it's accurate and confirmed.

Thank you! I've noticed that about 24/7 also. I don't have an issue with accuracy so much with Scout but from listening to the hosts, Howie seems much more personable. Also, he seems to pump out the football news very quickly. I love UofL sports period, but football is definitely my favorite!

Rivals seems to be the best option at this time, however I enjoy Jodies articles. He's left his job at WKRD to focus all his efforts into making his site the best it can be. I've been a premium member here for many years and really enjoy the takes you get on the premium side. I've never been a fan of 247, I think Mike Hughes is no where close to being as well connected as Howie or Jodie.

I agree that Scout's content is good and reliable and just from an outsiders standpoint it seems 247 does jump the gun a lot. I still visit any site covering the Cards though. I know Jody left his morning show on wkrd, but he's also covering WKU now as well. Like you said, his articles and content are good, but sometimes seems annoyed to answer questions.

Not currently subscribed to either but I liked rivals for subscription. I was subscribed to both rivals and scout. Liked the info on rivals and the more active board on Scout.

I think I'm gonna have to give Rivals a try. May do both for a while just to see. I'm a UofL junky, so I'm sure I'll keep both even though I don't want to pay for multiple subscriptions. Lol Thanks to everyone for their input.

Jodie's a great guy, but I wouldn't give you a nickel for his Scout sidekick or the guy running the U of L 247 site. In contrast, the guys in charge here are blue chip down the line.

I'm not into recruiting that much anymore because the info is too dynamic and unreliable. I appreciate the guys like Mike Singer in this space who do that job, but it makes no sense basing a buy decision on recruiting info...

I understand with the recruiting, that it can be all over the place and nothing really matters until signing day. However, I'm still a sucker for that info. That's definitely not the only reason I subscribe though. If that was the case, I'd just as well follow it on Twitter and find the same info there. I like the interface Rivals uses. I'm just searching out the best site with knowledgable publishers that don't mind answering our questions. Love our Cards and want to stay on top of everything going on.
