But to the front page story...why does anyone care? It is a football recruiting story for some guy in next year's recruiting class. I mean football recruiting is so fluid...right now, a month away from signing day is when the real recruiting is taking place. Players are deciding right now where they are going and will be signing soon. All of these year long verbal commitments are now starting to flip flop all over the place as kids change their minds and take visits. Louisville has hosted a lot of highly rated players over the last week or two and is making a push to finish this years class strong. Signing day is about a month away...and you are giving us story's about some random Kentucky high school player for next year's class? Signing day February 2017? I couldn't care less. In my opinion how Louisville finishes this year's class is what I'm interested. Who Louisville actually signs this February...not some kid who hasn't even started his senior year. In my opinion those types of articles are fails. I couldn't care less.

I tend to agree with the OP.

Nothing about recruiting is important until NSD. It's just talk and BS until then.

Kind of silly to think that on a UofL sports website that there wouldn't be a news article about a local player that has just been offered a scholarship by UofL.

Guess you guys are right.

Glad to hear the kid might come to UL. Hope he doesn't go somewhere else.

I feel like I've accomplished something now.
