It is an excellent documentary and much deeper than the title suggests. Must see for all college basketball fans.

I have it on DVR but haven't gotten a chance to see it yet. I've heard good things about it from almost everyone that saw it.

Beware once you start it, you won't likely be able to turn it off. I think I have seen it all the way through 3 times now and could watch it again. Though centered on him, a lot of basketball history surrounds it.

I agree man, loved it. I have watched the Fav 5 documentary probably 5 times so far. Those documentaries are such a snapshot of the time, when college basketball was seemingly at its zenith popularity and performance-wise. Games were consistently in the 80's/90's, and hitting the 100's was happening with some regularity.

Totally agree with this. I've watched it several times too ... including Sunday after I was so wired after our game. It's very well done. And I have a much greater respect for Laettner now ...

One of my favorite spots is Laettner telling how Bobby Hurley would respond to his gibes ... makes me laugh every time.

Plus there's a nice plug for the 86 Cardinals in it.

.

The best thing about Laettner is that he backed up everything on the court. By any metric he is one of the few greatest college players of all time, and perhaps the best in my lifetime (born in 1975.) Four straight Final Fours, 2 titles...and he hit 2 of the biggest shots in tourney history to win games. A stud all around.
