Purdue needs to move on and Louisville needs to move on .Gtech just opened up, tech is open. Fickle and Satterfield may be gone by the time Brohm drags both programs along. Let's move on already. If Tyra needs to pony up then do it, if he can't then let's just get it over with.

For reference, last year he never came out and said anything about UT until well after UT officially moved on. He was later on the record with saying that's his preferred method.

It you think about it, it's perfect.

1) He raises the profile of himself and his employer. (eg we all keep talkign about it, recruits talk about it, etc).

And in this case.

2) It provides Tyra the perfect cover to continue talkign to other candidates while everyone is still focused on Brohm. I'm sure Tyra would appreciate that.

LOL

Ok.

As of now, the ship is still sealed tight with it's captain at the helm. If Brohm had given ANY inclination that he was going to leave it would leak for sure.

Too many players, managers, ppl in the AD etc that would have let it spill after the fact.

The fact that it's all quiet at Purdue can only be seen as good news for Purdue.

That take isn't really debatable. If anyone at Purdue had actual insight that Brohm was preparing to leave ... it would most certainly have leaked.

The fact that nothing has leaked can only be viewed as a positive for Purdue.

2018/05/07. Seriously? :D

Yeah that's right. That's my point.

Don't be shocked if Jeff isn't the first to speak about turning down U of L.

It's more likely that it comes from U of L.

If Brohm is staying at Purdue I expect crickets from him and the AD until they sign an extension (could be a couple of weeks). In the mean time the conversation would have organically moved on as U of L will have hired their coach by then.

Jeff may not talk about it publically until either the bowl game or spring ball (like he did with UT).

Ok...you've voiced your "narrative"...again. It's been heard, now let it go please.

He simply wants to tell his team first, just like he did at WKU.

Sources say Jeff Brohm is ready to come to Louisville but some Hurstbourne residents are afraid he’ll increase traffic and noise.

Louisville area residents will get this. :p

I don’t live in st. Matthews, but does anyone else think that there has got to be a better area to put a Top Golf? Trying to merge on the watterson from 64 east to 264 west is already terrible, I like to use the 264 east lane to bypass all the traffic! Lol

Nope. Perfect spot for it.

Purdue coaches are out on the road recruiting, just as they were last year when he turned Tennessee down. Don't know if that means anything but i found it interesting.

Well given that they work for purdoo and not for JB - I would hope that they are still doing the job for which they are being compensated.

It’s called professionalism - not that you boils would know anything about it.

Yeah if it was leaving that would definitely happen. The fact that no team meeting has been called yet is again a plus for Purdue.

The longer no meeting is called the more likely my "narrative" is to play out.

Except his family in Louisville like his mom and dad would be all over him for that. Plus we’re not UT this is his university and his home. He gave up scholarship to ND to stay home and play at UofL. Not saying what he’ll do but sitting it out without a decision will not work with this situation.

You may be correct. No team meeting would point towards Purdue
