Agreed.

People always point to the slow pace UVA plays as to why they typically lose in the NCAA's as a favorite. That's part of it.

The other part is what you mention above.

And when a team gets gifted calls throughout a season (see ND at home every year) - they really are up against it when they go play a team on a neutral court in the NCAAs and have officials from a different league that call a more straight up game.
